Indescribably Angry at the District

Grrrrr! My brother told me today what Champi has revealed about the involuntary transfers to Legacy Jr.

Apparently, MR. CARTER and Mr. Furch are leaving! I am SOOOOO mad! I was counting on Carter to help my brother whip into shape next year for high school. He needs Carter! We need Carter!

There's not much I can say about Furch, but I know Shannah isn't too happy.

I'll miss Carter, but what I'm worried about now is my brother not having him as an English teacher. What Carter has taught me has saved my butt so many times. Why? WHY!?! No one can even come close to filling Carter's place.

I Know!!!!!!!!!!

I am utterly irked. it is completly impossible for anyone to be as good as Mr. Carter, it is just immpossible.

Where is Legacy Jr. anyways? wait, nevermind, just answered it myself.

It's not final yet though. You know how teacher placements can always change at the last minute. It won't be for sure until they actually move their stuff. How can they take the IB head department teacher from the IB program? Won't they lose credentials? Stupid district... anyone agree?

well. here's the thing. at least this is what champi revealed to shannah, keilee and me.

there is two ways you can do this. 1st, you can interview of your own accord and get a little say in what your decision.
2nd, they just draft you and you get stuck in whatever position you're placed.

The day that champi interviewed is the day that Mr. Carter interviewed. from the way that she was talking, it seemed petty moot.

Keilee, you'll just have to try and teach him what he is missing. also make sure he gets Mr. Woj next year, because he followed really closely to mr. carter.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooo.....

They can't just make him move! That is so evil! If he wants to be at SJH, they shouldn't be able to change that! That is SO LAME!!!! Mr. Carter was the best teacher I ever had!

AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is Legacy Jr. the like Davis #15 one or whatever?

I don't know Furch that well, but if they were moving Poulter, too, I would be ready to MURDER. Figuratively.

K, so I passed the new Junior High Driving today. It's not completely built yet, so I say we go on Midnight this Thursday and everyone bring matches and lots of wood. The Junior High is burnable, don't you think?

Yen said...

Shannah, you don't plan an arsony and criminal act online. It's too suspicious. How about we all just go over and visit the new jr high to see how it's going and bring some gasoline and matches to keep ourselves warm during our visit? I don't know if the jr high is burnable, maybe we should experiment and find out.

i'll bring marshmallows so we can make s'mores!

Who's bringing the graham crackers, chocolate and runaway car? or would it be better to burn down the superintendent's house? isn't it him that's making the final decision?

Amanda said...

I call the chocolate! lol

K, so all we need is a date? When is good for you?

Keilee said...

Weekends would be preferable, especially if we're staying late. After we're done we can have a party at someone's house.

Any weekend is fine, except for the weekend of Science Olympiad at Weber (28th).

Yen said...

Who actually has the guts to do it? I know I don't.

Keilee said...

None of us do, but it helps to pretend.

Amanda said...

We should have a party WITHOUT the meeting at the school and bringing flammable materials and S'mores!

Prudent, 'manda!

I'm super, super sad about the transfers and such, but I'm also down for a party... I have so much to tell u guys!! Smores are also quite nice, and I put in a vote for them. And wheat thins. And fruit. When is this party and where?

And I agree with Yen. It is highly improbable in my opinion that they would take Mr. Carter away from SJH. He does WAY too many things there to be taken away. There is no way anyone else (or even multiple people) are as qualified as he is to fill all the jobs that would be opened up if he left. Once they realize this, they will not let him leave. It's just that simple.

the district has more power though. and they can be realllllly stubborn! it's already been decided in any case. confirmed by mrs. champi.
