Summary

OK, so following the comment section on "Merry Christmas, Y'all!"

1. None of us have a clue about Maximum Ride
2. Christmas this year was Wii-Mania
3. Hillary is rich but in denial
4. We're having a party at Hillary's house on January 20th at some time.

Am I correct?

Vacation

K, so I just got back from a vacation at Zion's National Park. I liked it. There aren't very many people there in the winter. And there were these hugantic icicles all over the place! The only problem was that some of the trails and stuff were closed and the ones that were left were really icy.

I have some AWESOME pictures, but I'm on my dad's work computer so I can't post them. I will later, though.

Oh, and somebody pulled the fire alarm on us at about 1:30 in the morning.

Quotes I Can't Make Sense Of

Peeping Tom?

So, last night at, like, 12:00, a police car pulled up and shone a spotlight on our front yard, and then parked across the street from us. We were all freaked out, but he just stayed there and so we all went to sleep, it being 12:00 at night and all of us tired after a Lord of the Rings marathon (woot!). The next morning our neighbors called and asked us if we were the ones who called the police, and we were all "huh?". Turns out that after we went to bed, the policeman started walking around the backyard and shining his flashlight all over, so our neighbor went out to talk to him and found out there had been a call about a Peeping Tom! FREAKY!

Attention Syracusians!

Those of you who live in Syracuse, who's going to the New Years Eve dance at my church? Apparently I can go now because my family is having our party at my house instead of my grandma's. My cousin Wesley (who is 2 days older than me) might be coming with us. I think Shannah and Yen are the only ones who have met him, in the Denver airport. I might not be staying for the whole time, I'll just be going back and forth between parties.

Anyway, I was just wondering so I know who to look for.

Merry Christmas Y'all!

I just the Maximum Ride series with the newest of new covers. But what I just noticed is that books 1-3 are called "The Fugitives" while the supposedly 4th one (The Final Warning) is the first of "The Protectors," if that made any sense. I'm confused, does anybody know what's going on? Just curious.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

COMICS!!!

K Guys,
Me and Keilee need help! In English we have to make a newspaper centered in 1935. We are going to add a comics page in the back. We have three ideas for comics so far.

1. Bob Ewell lost his pride and can't find it.

2. When Snowmen go bad (Yes I stole this from Misty, can I use it Misty?)

and 3. Scout with her pants on under her dress.

I need at least 2-3 more funny or serious (action-packed) ideas for comics.
Remember, it's centered around 1935, so no pickles, sorry Aly.

Get Better Baylee!

OW! I hope you feel better soon Baylee. I'm sorry I cannot sympathize. I haven't had my tonsils out, but it sounds painful. I hope you feel better by Christmas though, because that would vacuum. Try not to boss Aly around too much, unless you really feel it necessary.

Merry Christmas (no matter how you feel)!

Guess what?! We're getting a dog! OK, so Jason and Bonni were given a puppy as an early wedding present(they were going to get married yesterday), but like a few weeks ago Jason started getting nervous because he wasn't ready to get married and Bonni got really mad and they broke up for a few days, but now she keeps coming over and stuff like she used to...but anyway, her parents decided that they just can't take care of two dogs, so Jason talked to mom and we're getting Bandit until Jason does get married or whatever, and who knows how long that could be!

Aly! Where have you been? I haven't seen you in school, and I KNOW you got back from Disneyland because dad said your mom could hear me practicing my clarinet when he called her! Are you deathly ill or what? I even called you at lunch and nobody picked up the phone! I left you a message on your cell, by the way. ^_^

WE MISS YOU!

I can drive!!!!!

I passed!!!!! I can't believe I passed!!!!!
I took the Driver's Road test and got 16, so I passed that.
Then today I took the written part, which is 150 questions and 300 points.
You have to get 80% to pass and I got 86% (or 258 points).

There's a story behind this exstatisism. We were supposed to study for the test over the weekend. So I went Sunday night to do it and realized I had forgotten the handbook in my locker. That had everything highlighted that we needed to study. So I freaked out, called Keilee, and her (being the reassuring person she is) calmed me done and said I would not fail. Then this morning it was late start so we didn't get any time to study so I thought for sure I would fail. So when I found out I passed I was soooooo excited!

So now on Febuary 27, I can go in and get my license!!!!!
YEA!!!!!!!!!

Pen Pal?

Hey, guess what? Dallin and the other missionaries teach English classes. (It's a good way to get contacts...and it's nice) He just emailed us, and he said that he gave this one girl my address and I'm going to write to her to help improve her English. Her name is Yu-ri. Isn't that the coolest name? I don't know why, but I like it!

Hey Look!

Hey! We had our sort-of concert and Barnes and Noble, so we were browsing, and I discovered something awesome! Leven Thumps and the Wrath of Ezra! I didn't even know it came out! I was so excited! And my mom bought it! (I have to pay her back, but at least I have it now) WHOOT!

Also, I've been playing with the background. Give me your opinion.

Also, also, do I have permission to delete a few of the pictures/playlists/penguins? It's taking ages to load, and we have high speed...

Twilight

Amanda, you will want to read this one.

So I went to Twilight again on Wednesday morning. I was really annoyed with the meadow and the kissing in her bedroom scene. They took so stinkin' long!!! So the second time I counted.

The scene in the meadow they spend a full 50 seconds "looking into each other's eyes"
That's a full 50 seconds they could have used for some cool action or something.

In the kissing scene in her bedroom they took a full 25 seconds to actually kiss.
Hello! You are wasting tape here!

Also, I was reading some articles on Robert Pattinson and he's like a total drunk. He wanted to do an interview in a bar instead of at this snazy hotel, so they did.

One paparazi guy got a picture of him going into a bar every single night for a week.
Robert's words to this were, "I looked like I was an alcoholic."

Also in the article he swears about three times. Most of the time it's the f word.

So I decieded I like don't like the actor, I like the character he plays. I could even say that I like the person he is when he's taping, or on camera, not off.

I told my mom this and she just said, "Well, think of his culture. He's from England and he propaply doen't have a religion." I just said, "OK."
I guess he does have an excuse but please! He's the opposite of Edward in real life!

AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!
So for the moment I must agree with Keilee for Emmett . . . off film.
Edward on film.

My Dad!

So, we were driving home from Bear Lake, and Bay was all, "So, say something and I will say it in Chinese." And then my dad looks back and is all, "The chicken is my friend."

Baylee didn't answer, cuz we were all laughing so hard.

He is SO crazy!

I've decided since everyone but Keilee (sorry Keilee) has high speed internet, I'm gonna put my playlist back on. My favorite song at the moment is "here I am" by Bryan Adams. It is off of Spirit: stallion of the Cimmaron movie. i love that movie!!!

Problemo! Probleme!!! Problemo!! (whatever language you want:)

Okay, so you know my piano concert?

The library just called me, and they "accidentally" scheduled me on the same day as the annual puppet show, and I didn't take precedence. SO, they changed me to

Monday, Dec. 1st, at 7:30

It's still at the Clearfield Library
562 S 1000 E (a little north of CHS)

Anyways, I know this is problematic for you guys since it's family night. Hey, think of it this way, you could bring your whole family to listen to me! Yeah, if you can't make if and your parents have fits its okay. Let this be a lesson to you all that when you procrastinate, you won't get the date you want. If I had called a few days earlier, I wouldn't have this problem. Sorry to get this to you on short notice! Hope you all get it!

Tuesday, November 18, 2008

TWILIGHT!

I know it is kind of short notice, but I think we should all get together either this Friday or next and see Twilight (Amanda, you don't have to come, but I think you should just to be with us. *batting eyelashes*)

So what do you think?? We all need to get together and talk, because it has been too long since I have seen anyone. (I can't believe you wouldn't let me come to the Halloween Party.)

We would each have to pay for our own tickets, but I wouldn't mind. :)
Lemme know!

Dilemma!

K guys, you're my friends, and I know you can help me w/ this problem. Some of you might already know it, but some of you don't. K, here's the story...

My sister, Tran (19 yrs old), is dating this guy, who lives in Oklahoma (yeah, I know, long distance), and she wants to quit her honors scholarship at the U and move to Oklahoma and go to college there. Mind you that she's already been engaged earlier this year and has known this guy for like 3-4 months. I don't know, I don't really talk to her anymore. Okay, my parents and I were like, let's let her make mistakes. Here's the creepy part...

He's 33 years old and has 5 kids!!!

She thinks that he's a worthy guy, and from the emails I've hacked into on her account, she's already started calling him fiance! I don't know what to do. She just came home tonight, and my parents and her got into a huge fight! She thinks he's a wonderful guy, but he's Mr. Carter's age! Help! I need some of you guys common sense. Oh, and I already tried calling Dr. Laura, but it's always busy. Help me!!!!

Mascot!

We now have a mascot! Smarty the Penguin! If you click the "M" in the corner, it feeds him fish. And if you click on him, like, four times, it knocks him off balance into the water. He so cute!

Piano Concert!!!!

Hey Peoples!

Okay, so basically I'm gonna have this piano concert on Tuesday, December 2nd. It's gonna be just me playing like a bunch of classical pieces memorized for 20 minutes, and I've been working on it for like 3 years (okay, procrastinated again, I could have probably done it last year!). Anyways, it's gonna be at the Clearfield Library at 7:30, so if any of you can come, it'd be awesome! Just wanted to invite you guys, since it's over in clearfield. I would have had it at the Layton library, which has a nicer auditorium, but they were booked solid. Bring your families if you want to... wait a minute...... Do any of you guys have young women's that night? If you do, then crap.... oh well.. I know this is pretty early in advance, but just wanted to tell you guys about it. I know it might sound pretty boring!

Mitt Romney for President!

Hi, everybody! I really felt like posting, because pretty much everybody I talk to thinks I'm a creep for supporting Barack Obama! (I like spelling that!) I couldn't really decide, so I decided to support Obama like my parents did. Their arguments make sense. My mom has read his policy ideas and said that they're actually good. She also said that Obama would do more to support a larger group of Americans (like the working class instead of the rich). She even read this article about what other countries are saying about who should become president, and the US has a really bad image to the world right now and Obama would WAY improve that image. That bit is true. He's so calm and collected and rational. McCain has a bit of a temper. (Have you seen the presidential debates)
Oh, and for Aly's benefit, there was this girl in my class going: "I think McCain and Obama are both stupid! Edward Cullen for President!" and I was like *sigh*, but I have to admit, the mind-reading thing would be useful.
Anyway, like I said in the title, I'd rather have Mitt Romney than anyone. Can you imagine having the Priesthood in the White House? That would be so awesome! Our country would be like uber-America! (I've been saying that a lot lately...uber...)

My most recent medical story...

I've been really fatigued for like 2 yrs and naseous for like a month. So we went to the doctor, hoping he could explain this mystery. He couldn't. I had 7 vials of blood drawn in one sitting, count them, SEVEN. The nurse that called us first told us that I had mono, but that test actually told us that I had mono sometime in the past 2 years or so, which is probably what triggered the fatigue, but not anymore. Out of seven vials of blood, that's all we got. So I've had many tests performed on my body in the past couple weeks, mostly under a different doctor than the one I had my blood drawn under. I have had 1) blood drawn, 2) a ct scan of the head, 3) an x-ray of the chest, 4) a stomach/abdominal ultrasound, and 5) an mri of the head with contrast (that's where they dye your blood through an iv. it felt so wierd and I still have a bruise).

All of these tests have come back either normal or negative of whatever they were looking for. So now I'm going back to school with no (still) no idea what I have. I'm still really tired, and I have headaches practically all the time, but there is nothing wrong with my brain, as determined by the ct scan and mri. I'm kinda frustrated with all this, but what can I do?

EMERGENCY!!! READ RIGHT NOW!!!

the party has been moved to 4 oclock. because some people thought 3:30 was too early. Which, if I think about it, it is. Amanda, can you tell erika? I'll tell Janetta. thanks! :D

I can drive(almost) legally! YAY!

I PASSED MY TEST!!! I took my drivers test today and I passed. I got an 8 out of 22. which is good believe it or not. 0 is the best and 22 is the worst. so I did OK.

I mostly got marked down on (big surprise) indecisiveness. also I got dislexic and thought we were parking down hill instead of uphill. that was it.

Now all I have to do is pay my 75 bucks and wait for march to come along. Why am I such a procrastinator? ugh.

In other news (aka party news) I have concluded that EVERYONE, but misty 'cause she still isn't sure(as far as I know), can come! and only three will be late!!!!(Shannah, Madeline, and Erika) YAY! :)

I'M FREEEEEeeeeeEEEEEEEEEeeeeeEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm free! I never have to go to Lagoon ever again! And my mom was all like, "What lessons have you learned?" And I was like

1. Nothing makes you miss church like going to work instead
2. Money isn't worth it if you hate the job
3. But it's still kinda nice
4. Sometimes you just have to deal with things you end up not liking, because it will be better for you
5. If you don't like to stand around all day doing nothing to very little, and having no one to talk to, while annoying pop music is blaring you so can't even think, don't work at Lagoon.

It's a Party!

OK, so it's not really, but it is a concert! All who are on this blog are hereby invited to Syracuse High School's band concert on Wednesday, October 29th at 7:30 PM. Syracuse Jr.'s Symphonic Band will be playing, plus our concert band and jazz band. (If you want to come at 5:30, you can hear all of SJH's bands) Oh, and a combined song with SJH and concert band. COME!!! ^_^

P.S. Don't worry, we're only playing 2 songs in jazz band and there won't be much soloing. One of them is only Keegan and Aaron and the other one is probably Keegan and...probably one more.

Look how cool this is!

Hey guys, (mainly Misty, Dalaney, and Erika)
You guys that are going to france. I talked to Audrey about meeting you guys in Paris and this is what she said. Hey Misty,
"No problem to your friend, I just had ask my parents to meet her, and they are very excited!"
She means (If you didn't get it) that she talked to her parents about meeting you and they were very excited to meet you.
So I just need a date and time. Wouldn't that be cool if you could meet her and, maybe her brother, in person!
Also, Misty can you e-mail me your e-mail because the one I have didn't work.

SEATTLE (cont.)

Hey again! I'm home! I'm so excited, though I can't truthfully say that I really, truly missed Chloe. She's so . . . hyper! Anyway, here's some stuff that happened today and some stuff I forgot.

First, sorry two reasons why I can't post pictures. First, our computer is way to slow! I could never get it to download on my old computer. Second, my mom's camers ran out of battery's at the Boise, Idaho temple today. So she used mine. Later, while she was in the car, she tried to put the date on my camera. She accidentally deleted all of my pictures. I balled for a long time. Then I thought "my mom has pics" so I forgave her. So you'll have to check my moms blog if you want pics, when she puts them on.

Next, my other favorite part was Deception Pass. (Maddie check the comments, I answered all of your guys questions.) Let me explain to you my fear. We were about 30 stories up above the ocean. There were two lanes in the road, then on each side of the road there is a pass about 2 and a half feet wide. This is what you walk on while cars are zooming pass you just a couple feet away. Then on the other side is a huge drop. Kinda scary. When we got to the middle I looked down and guess what I saw! I saw a wild seal. It was belly up just looking up at me. It was so cute. I don't know how it could have eaten the penguin on Happy Heet. It was awesome.

Next, when we were trying to come home today, we were delayed about three hours. Our car broke down right across from a friendly mechanics. He helped us get the part. Then three hours later (and 700 dollars) we were off again. It was very conveniant . . . (P.S. My mom figured that the whole trip, gas and everything, cost about 700 dollars, so the car doubled it.)

Finally, we were on the island and guess what we saw. One gas station had gas for $2.97 a gallon! I know amazing. My mom took a picture of it.

So that's all, for now. See ya'!

SEATTLE!

Omgsh! Guess where I am write now!?

A million dollar home. I've slept in it the past 2 nights!

Seattle is amazing. We went to the top of the space needle! It's amazing. Everything is so beatiful, except the smoke that is always in the air. For you LDS peoples I went to the Seattle temple yesterday.

Today we stayed on the island. Oh yea, I'm living on an island, off of the continental U.S. Cool huh?! We saw a lighthouse bunkers where they defended the island from pirates and blew up stuff! We also saw some old men dancing in traditional clothes (weird clothes) with a pipe blowing guy! We found huge amazing shells too!

Yesterday we went to the mainland. We went to the temple, then we went to the Pike Market Place. People through fish everywhere. It's awesome! You should look it up. I got a green apple that was bigger than my hand! No lie! Then we went to the Seattle Aquarium! No sharks. (Sorry Aly, no one got eaten) Britney and my mom did touch a sea anemone though! They say that is sucked onto their hand. I touched a starfish. Then we went up the Space Needle. It's 520 feet tall. (No Misty, it's not nearly as tall as the Eiffel Tower) We also went on the Monorel (spelling?) Amanda would probably know more about it then I do. I know that it went really fast. ;)

Then comes my favorite part of the whole trip.

We went on Ferry Rides yesterday and the day before! It's so fun. Yesterday we came back in the dark. I felt like I was on the Titanic. We were riding against the wind so I put my arms out and hummed the song! It was sooooooo much fun!

Also, I saw lots of Jelly fish, at the aquarium and then we found some that got beached when the tide went in. My mom saved two and when my dad tried to save one, he ripped it to shreds. It was kinda sad. I didn't dare touch one. But it was awesome. Do the made Jello from Jelly fish? :)

So that was pretty much my trip. If I think up more I'll tell you later. It's an hour later here so I'm like way tired. We are going to turn around and leave this beautiful island, maybe forever, tomorrow! :(

Good night everyone!

Random Link

Ok. just another random link becuase I am bored. This is off the Author Shannon Hale's website. for those of you who don't know who she is she is like one of my favorite authors. she wrote The Goose Girl. Three things that are just wrong.

Also for Keilee and Shannah She has a new book out Called Repunzel revenge! I am excited, even though it is a graphic novel. It is about repunzel in the wild west. It seems weird, but the more I read about it the more I like it.

LOLZ

Ok, I know I've been posting too much, but Tyler has this on his desktop. Help me refute this logic!
Oh, and this is Tyler's political cartoon for U.S. Government. Hope you get it!

I'm too old

wow. as of today, I officially have a teenager for a nephew; the texting and all. it makes me feel really old. I'm not that old, am I? oh, and also this was my first day working at the Davis Hospital. the volunteers with me said that it was a record day for slowness. All I had to do was deliver a candy bouqet to someone with one of the volunteers and the rest of the time i did a word search (4 hours). yipee!?!? :D

MOSQUITOES!!!

For those of you non-titans who don't know, Amanda (Shafer) and I were having some fun at the football game Friday night. We were discussing that the mosquitoes were bothering us, and we came up with this idea. We have decided that the concept of vampires originated with mosquitoes. Amanda had fun calling after one, going "Edward! No! Come back!" It was rather entertaining and annoyed Aly to no end. So, that is my inside joke of joy for awhile.
P.S. I'm glad I can put this on the blog, because if not, I probably would have written it in my English journal, and I've already done a lot of Twilight bashing in there...though it hasn't been for awhile...maybe I'll bring it up again...

They are soooo sweet and I love them, but we can't keep them! The others are equally cute, and they're all so sweet! HELP THE HOMELESS!

and I only missed 1 question. yay! I guess it helps that I am taking drivers ed and we already went through the book and I've taken the drivers license written test and know all the correct answers to it and most of the questions were also on the permit test. so yeah......... yay! : D

Amanda No Likey Da Gas Pedal!

I'm scared!!!!! The gas pedal is creepy!!!!! Driving is so AH! I'm gonna CRASH!!!! Especially because on Friday, we got rear-ended by a Semi, but we were stopped at a stop light, and then the car in front of us moved, and then the semi moved before we did! It hurt! I was leaning my head back against the seat, and BAM! It was scary...so I'm paranoid now!

P.S. This is Kenshin, one of my recent anime fads. (he has red hair! WHOOT!) So, do you like (in order) Thoughtful Kenshin, Wide-Eyed Kenshin, or Just Plain Awesome Kenshin?

NO MORE BRACES!

Yes, it has finally happened after 2 years 3 months 1 day and so many hours, I GOT MY BRACES OFF! I got them off Wednesday (17th) morning and I couldn't believe how easy it was. I would have posted this earlier but my computer's been slow and I've been lazy. I'm hoping soon Hillary can post the pictures I took of me before and after.

I'm so excited, I look good :) I've been rubbing my tongue over my smooth teeth all of the time and I've been smiling like crazy ask my family, Hillary, Shannah, Aly and Amanda.

Also on Wednesday, I pulled a 'Hillary.' After my Ortho. appointment, instead of going back to school, I went with my mom to the store to help her lift the heavy things at the case lot sale, since her backs hurts. I love that feeling of skipping school. When I finally checked in at school, my mom had to come in because my excuse note from the Ortho. was from like 2-3 hours before.

Korver's Surgery

Hey guys! if you are wondering about Korver surgery or just want to see some dang cute pictures of him smiling with a lot of tubes stuck to him, here is a link to my brother's blog: Korver is totally cute! if you scroll down to the first post (i think) it will explain what was wrong with him. it made my heart hurt to see the incision all down his little stomach.

Wednesday, September 17, 2008

this is so totally awesome!! it is the new Ipod nano. if you give it a shake, it will actually shuffle your songs! and if you like a song, there is a program that will find other songs that go good with that song! and if you put it horizontal it automatically switches to the cover flow screen so you can find an album! totally amazing!! I want one!!

and also more happy news; my nephew korver had his surgery today and it went perfectly! he didn't loose very much blood, which is kinda hard to do when doing open heart surgery. Now all he has to do is stay at the hospital for a week and heal! yay!

ALASKA!

OMGosh! I might be moving to Alaska! SQUEEEEEE!!!!! (No, I'm really not kidding, Yen)
And this is unlike the "Aly-moving-to-Bear-Lake scare" because both my mom and my dad are for it this time! If we did, it would be to Homer, Alaska...HOMER! Ah well, the name can't be helped, I guess.
This would be SO SAD, cuz I'd be leavin' y'all, but on the other hand, wouldn't it be a nice adventure? I mean, I have lived in UTAH my whole life, possibly the most boring/blase stae in the U.S. Wouldn't Alaska liven things up a bit?

Random Aly trivia:

Once, when I was seven, I held a boy down and Baylee kissed him.

HA! That was totally random.

Coyote Gulch

Hello! I have just gotten back into civilization from living Bear Grylls style! yay! I went down to Coyote Gulch backpacking. It was amazingly gorgeous there and filled with animals. I saw 10 frogs (and touched one of them) 17 lizards, 7 tadpoles, 2 snakes, 3 stink bugs, a gagilion spiders, 3 crows, evidence of a rat, and we almost ran over 16 jackrabbits.

the first night we stayed in a really cool cave like thing and left our stuff out in the open. how silly of us. in the morning we couldn't find our lighter and finally found it 5 feet away under a rock with bite marks on it. also our m&m bag was ripped open. we figured the little rats were waiting till we fell asleep and split up, wanting roasted m&ms that night or something.

on the way down the canyon we had to squeeze through two rocks (pictured above) when i stood profile the heels and toes of my feet touched each side of the canyon. i don't know how my dad fit through. had gone on a head and turned back around to see how he would fit. I was running(what I could do when the ground is a pile of rocks) when I heard a hissing noise. I looked down and, right where I was about to put my foot, a gigantic snake was uncurling and hissing at me. I screamed and ran.

a couple of days before we got to the canyon there had been a flash flood that had killed 2 people. This was good because there was virtually nobody there. I think they were scared off. this was bad because if there was any trail at all it was washed away. we just followed the river. Also, my dad was relying on the river for water, and because of the flood the river was way to muddy for my dad's filter to handle. we found this little waterfall (above) of clean water coming in and pulled a Bear Grylls. I got to stand under the waterfall with a pan against the wall and wait for water to trickle in. I got soaked and we got water. I also slipped on the stupid slippery rock and cut my leg. not fun.

after walking against the muddy banks, where every step you took you were sinking ankle deep (and once knee deep) in mud, we finally got to the exit of the canyon. one problem, the exit was a 45 degree angled rock and we had to pull our packs up after us. my dad didn't bring a rope long enough and I was stuck half way up the rock. It was basically like rock climbing without any rope. the only hand and foot holds were miniscule and you had to keep going or you would slip. it scared the crap out of me until I got to a ridge and stayed there. I was starting to think it would be nice to sleep there because there would be no way I could get up or down, when these two really cool guys, who had passed us by, came back and asked us for help. one was british and reminded me of the actor who playes James in Twilight. they whipped out this gigantic 100 ft long rope and tied it to a rock then the scrambled down the rock (one was barefoot!) and grabbed our packs and scrambled just as fast up the rock. they were crazy! then they climbed back down to help "mum" and "sis" and "brother" up the hill. we grabbed the rope and climbed up. I swear they were like animals. my mom even told them that and they just grinned at her.

we barely got back to the road and our car before the sun went down. My dad told us it would be around a 7 mile hike, but it ended up being a 13 mile hike. I loved every minute of it. :D

Insulted

Carter seems to have taken offense with me, because he just told me in a really venomous tone that I have "a normal face" and that my "hair is cut in half" and that I "don't know how to teach soccer."

How dare he?!

Hole In the Wall

Have you guys seen that new game show, Hole In the Wall? It's HILARIOUS! It's this Japanese game show that just came to America, and they stand there and have to fit through holes in these moving styrofoam walls! It's so stupid it's funny!

Whoo...South Korea

Dallin sent us a bunch of information about South Korea, and it was really cool. He says they eat the same stuff for every meal: rice, kimchi, more rice, and vegetables. Sometimes, they will add meat of some sort. Even breakfast! Isn't that weird?

He says that there are a million tiny businesses that are all the same (like 20 Internet cafes and 20 clothes stores and 20...you get the point...all next to each other), and he can't figure out how they stay in business. He sleeps on these mat things.

He sent us a picture of the skyline of his area (Buchan, I think...or is it Incheon? Anyway, it's all part of the Greater Seoul area), and it's HUGE! ("1/2 million of them. 2 of us. We've got some work to do.") They have one of those wedding reception/special event places, and it's shaped like a Disney castle. Seriously! And in front of it is Club Batman. You can see the sign. Apparently copyright laws aren't so formal in Korea...

I'm Learning French!!

Yes you read that correctly. I, Misty, am learning French. The reasons: 1) I've wanted to for a while, and 2) I am possibly going to Europe next summer!! OMG I AM SO EXCITED, even for the possibility!!! The cost is about $3100, which is an amazingly cheap price for EUROPE! (I can bring one or two of you if you want. Delaney can also bring one or two. Just fyi. The Europe trip includes Paris, Rome, possibly Venice, and more!! Super Awesome!!! The $3100 includes plane tickets, train tickets, all hotel fares, and 2 meals a day. It doesn't include tips, lunch, or Venice. But if we decide to add Venice to the lineup, $200 to $500 will be added to the $3100.)

But I have how to say what my name is (Je m'appelle Misty) and what is your name (Tu t'appelles comment?) and my mom got me one of those little kid' s French picture dictionaries. I'm so excited!!!
Sorry, Aly, for using double and triple exclamation points.

Doesn't Compute

My brain is fried for the moment. I've been doing Pre-Calculus homework, and it's too much for my head. (By the way, I'm doing section 1-2, functions) I still have 9 problems to do, but I had to take a break. How am I supposed to last the rest of the year?

I hope the rest of you are doing better then I am.

My Playlist...

So, I've posted my playlist on here so I can listen to my musica when I go to this blog. Warning: I have some seriously weird songs on here that I like anyway! You can skip 'em, if ya want, although some of them are seriously addictive...

Note: Please refrain from reading the next paragraph if your name is not Amanda.

I'll try to put some of the more mainstream sons at the top to help ease your musical tastes into this century, Amanda...Don't argue with me! You're going to listen to pop music and YOU'RE GOING TO LIKE IT, YOUNG LADY! NO MORE BROADWAY/JAZZ! UGH! "But I'm entitled to my own opinions-" No. No, you are not.

Tuesday, September 2, 2008

Guesswhatguesswhatguesswhatguesswhatguesswhat?!?!?!?!?! I got my learner's permit! I can officially drive with a parent in the passenger's seat! I'm SCARED! And guess what! Tyler got his license, so he can legally drive with me in the car! Weird, huh? WHOOT!

Sorry, at Young Women's today, we had a recipe exchange, and we all brought samples, and now I'm kinda high on sugar...

Have you guys ever just been obsessed with something for awhile, to the point where everything else isn't interesting? I got one of those when I found Escaflowne, (no insulting it just because it's anime, Aly! You're only allowed to insult it if you've seen it!) and now I keep talking about it, and no one knows what I'm talking about, so I can't have any interesting conversations.l..because if the conversation is about something else, I lose interest! Yergh! Random noises!

who would ever wear them?

I was randomly looking at pictures and found this one. It's like a glass slipper, but worse!!

Labor Day party thing

So, you should all know by now that we don't have school on Monday. Hillary and I want to get together at her house on Monday. We don't know exactly what time yet, so get back to us about that. Madeline is actually is free to come, so the rest of you should come to witness this miracle.

Yen, this is what I meant about seeing you on Monday. Don't worry, we would never leave you out.

So comment telling whether you can come or not.

I found a genius!

Okay, this girl I met today in french is CRAZY! You guys think I'm smart, but I'm not. This girl, her name's Emma. She's in our grade and is even younger than me, like 4-5 months younger. This year, she's taking AP Euro, AP chemistry, AP calculus, and Honors english. Not only that, but she does Youth court, sophomore committee, and volunteer work at retirement homes. Who agrees that that's crazy!

Oh, and guess who else I saw? Coach P from gym apparently works at DHS. At least that's what I think. He was heading into a hall with a stack of papers.

Finally, this might not seem unusual to you guys, but today, my mom made fresh, homemade hamburgers today for the first time in her life! My mom's going crazy with american foods now and I don't know why. She wants to make tacos sometime this week too. OMG!

Sooooo, How Was It?

You all know what I mean right? How was your guy's first day in high school?

I thought it was okay. I love the French teacher, Mlle Henson! She's funny, energetic, and speaks French perfectly. I also like the Health teacher Mr. Martin. He's pretty funny too.

I don't think B day is going to be as good though. I only have one class with someone I know, and it's Pre-Calc with Shannah.

I'm mostly glad that the first day jitters are gone. Well, we do have a new and different day tomorrow, but at least we know our way around a little bit more.

Attention all TITANS!

GO TITANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

School will start in less than 12 hours! If any of you happen to also see this, we're going to try to find each other at lunch by going in the corner nearest to the counselor's office, OK? If you don't know where that is, it's the farthest possible one from the place where you get food...I think. We'll just kinda wing it.

CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!

Running is now a Swear Word!

This morning I did the half marathon. I finished all 13 miles in 3 hours 48 minutes and something seconds! I was ---beep--- so quickly that I passed three people before I finished. I no feel like I'm going to die! I didn't even get a medal. I got a shirt that says, "Top of Utah Half Marathon." I really wanted a medal. My mom got one at the ogden one. Anyway, now I need a nice long nap. See some of you on Monday when I will be crawling around the school in pain.

My locker is 2362! Not sure if that's good or not! Aw, wait- is that on the bottom? Amanda, did you say evens are bottom or top? Awww, dang, I think you said bottom...dang!

See? ZIP!

Hey, we need to have, like, a meeting place for lunch so we can find each other. Amanda, you got any ideas?

Still A Brace-face

Ya, so today was just my evaluation, they just measured my bite and everything. In 4 weeks, on September the 17th at 8:30 am (during English and French 3) I will get my braces off!!! Finally! I'm so excited, I just can't hide it ;)

Book List

Out of curiosity, why have I only heard of 4 books on the "favorite books" list? Well, 6, if you count in passing...Harry Potter, Fablehaven(which I still haven't read, I need to...), Inkheart(in passing), Maximum Ride(because Aly was talking about it during gym...a LOT), Twilight, and The Uglies series (in passing). And does ex. mean especially or except?

Just out of curiosity...We should make a more collaborative book list...unless I'm just the only one...in that case, I can just stay confused. :)

Party Idea (so we're not bored)

hey guys!!!

so I was thinking for the party tomorow we could do this crafty type thing. you get a bunch of old magazines and scissors and cut up cool pictures from the magazine and glue them on a plain notebook randomly. then you get that lamination stuff that comes in a roll and put it on top. Everybody would have to bring their own stuff. Just an idea. does that sound cool or lame?

Monday, August 18, 2008

It's (The) Party Time!

OK, my parents have agreed to having 11 (sorry, Yen) non-screaming teenage girls in our home on Thursday at 12:30. Can you guys all do that during the day and all? RSVP to me by commenting. I will call those not on da blog.

Oh, and the non-screaming part? I asked my parents if I could have a dozen screaming teenage girls at a party in our house and my mom looked at me weird. So...non-screaming it is. Also, only my dad will be home at that time, and he will be working, so he can't give any rides to or from. We have yet to determine how long we expect it to last.

RSVP ASAP PLZ!!!!!!!!!!! ^_^

Party!

Hey! So I just realized like yesterday that we only have one week until school starts, (and I am jazzed!), and I was thinking we should do some sort of Party, Par-tay, get-together, hang-out session, or similar. : )

What days are you guys busy? I work Monday and Friday, but otherwise, I'm good.

Thursday, August 14, 2008

My Schedule

My schedule is so different than all of yours! Except for English!

1-English 10 Honors w/ Baker (who Tyler says is strict but you will learn a lot)
2-Seminary
3-Concert Band w/ Mr. Wayman the AWESOME
LUNCH!
4-Pre-Calc w/ Holt

5-Jazz Band
6-Driver's Ed/Titan Pride w/ Anderson/Wilcox
7-Biology-Ag Science w/ Stokes
LUNCH!
8-AP Euro history w/ Berrong

Advisory is with Voorhees.

The hall system isn't SO confusing. Tyler explained it. 1 0r 2 is first or second floor (obviously), then (from the cafeteria to the seminary), it goes 300s, 200s, 100s, on the left and...something else on the right. I was going to ask him, but he fell asleep. Ah, well. It won't take too long to figure out. Just be glad that you don't have to run from seminary to band. BE GLAD. That is BAD for me. I found my English and Driver's Ed classrooms just looking for my locker. Tyler said he didn't even use his locker for most of the year last year, because we can bring backpacks to class, so he just brought everything to every class, and it worked really well. Especially for CEL or PVA, our lockers are clear out in the outskirts.

OLYMPICS!

Wow, I don't know if you all care about the Olympics, or saw the opening ceremony, but it was AWESOME!! The drums, the costumes, the guys in the boxes, everything was amazing! The Chinese did spend tons of money on it, but it seems that it all went to good use. I can't decide which was my favorite part.

Then, on Saturday, when the incredible Michael Phelps, broke his own world record, that was pretty cool.

This is probably the first Olympics I've actually watched and been interested in, partly because the Chinese are pretty smart.

Anyway, I just had time, and nobody has posted in awhile, so I took the opportunity to.

I am officially over the soccer thing!! (that took a while, didn't it? ;D) this is mainly due to the fact that the next day, yesterday, I went over to my cousin's house where she had one puppy left that wouldn't sell, the only girl. After months of trying to convince my dad, he finally gave in and let me get her!!! YAYAYAYAY!! I need help thinking of names for her. I want you to vote on your favorite of the following names and give me some new ones that you think would be cute for her. She is a teacup Yorkshire Terrier.

* Bella (big surprise, I know.)
*Gemma (pronounced with the J sound)
*Lilly
*Tiger Lilly

Her middle name is going to be Benevolence. :D

oh, and Aly? My parents wanted me to create a blog for the fam, but I couldn't figure out some things. like on the title, how do you get the background to be a different color?

Sad News

ok guys. the following is to be read but not to be commented about. it will just make everything that much harder. instead comment to me about random stuff, ok?

Tryouts for soccer ended today and they made the cuts. obviously, i didn't make it. I am in no way bawling my eyes out (a big surprise, :D). I am a little dissapointed, but I was a little worried how I was going to juggle that and homework anyway, with my wonderful procrastination skills. I do realize that I am in denial right now, and am making stupid excuses, so just bare(bear?) with me.

ooh, p.s. I LOVE THE NEW LAYOUT!!!!!! it rocks. I <3 butterlies!!! :D :(

Sunday, August 3, 2008

OK, I feel a little bad. I was kinda mean...it would have been funnier if you would have responded, though! And I admit, I'm curious...I'm okay with the basic plot (of Twilight, not Breaking Dawn)...it just bothers me the way she gets to it. I don't like a lot about her writing...like how she uses the same words and phrases a lot...and the same topics of conversation...and I hate most of her characters...I like, as I said, three of them. Several are meh, but the rest are like UGH.

And I have finally discovered the thing that bothers me most! I've been thinking about it, because you guys have been so obsessed about Breaking Dawn...The best way to say it is in Professor Slughorn's words from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. "It is impossible to manufacture or imitate love. No, this will only create a powerful infatuation or obsession." I don't know that much of Edward or Jacob, but to me, Bella has that...obsession more than real love...which bothers me! The main character shouldn't be a fake! As you can guess, she's not on my list of 3 good characters...

Anyway, so now you understand more of my opinion...

EEEEEEEKKKK!!!!

BREAKING DAWN IS TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!! I think that Amanda and all other twilight haters would hate this one the least. it has a certain quality that makes me think they would slightly like it. But now what am I gonna read?!?! ugh. I'm having withdrawls. :D

Friday, August 1, 2008

O! Keep the blog this way! I LOVE IT!!!

Though, you guys probably won't read this for several days. You're reading BREAKING DAWN...the new, probably even MORE LAME addition to the ALREADY VERY LAME series!

Now, I'm not saying that the whole thing is horrible. I'm saying there are only 3 good characters, and the good parts of the whole series could be taken out and placed in a new book. We would end up with this new book, with one good thing per page, a book MAYBE the size of an Animorphs book. And this much is unlikely.

Have fun defending yourselves! I will think up some more insults!

Thursday, July 31, 2008

Yay!

I have just granted all of you administration privileges, since I'm goin' away for the weekend! Whoopee! It just means that you can do stuff like change the layout and look of the blog and add music and stuff (IF you can figure it out...).

So...have fun, I guess!

New Quote. Oh my gosh. I am FREAKING out here!

Breaking Dawn Quote of the Day:
Jacob: "I'll kill you myself! I'll do it now!"

WHO IS HE TALKING TO?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cows, Hair, and Art

Hey Guys,

I've got three new stories for you. First is the cow.

We went to the children's rodeo in Mt. Pleasant last weekend. There was one thing where they had a calf with dollar bills duck-taped to it. Then they had kids in different age groups go and chase the cow to get money. Josh went and I was the only witness to the horrific accident of what happened next. First, all I saw was a cow running away from these kids, it was running really fast. Next I saw this kid step right out into the middle of his path. The cow rammed right into the kid and the kid foled over, like this, <(cow). The cow carried him about 5 feet and then the kid fell off. The crowd all went, "Oohhh!" and I thought, "Poor kid." Then the kid turned around and it was JOSH! He got up and started walking back to the cow. I started yelling, "Josh! Josh! Come back!" He told my mom later that he got up and wanted to get some money, because he hadn't gotten any before. So he started walking to the cow. Then he turned around and saw his mom and realized that he just wanted his mom. So he came back bawling and his mouth was full of blood. His head had hit the cow's horn and his bottom teeth went into his gums.

Later, my dad was driving home from church and he played his usual trick. He slams on the brakes and says, "Oops. Hit a cow." He did that on Sunday and Josh peeped up and said, "But dad, I really did hit a cow." Then we all laughed.

Next is the hair story.

I got my hair cut. Not as dramatic, but it is freakin' cute. It's a A-bob. and the longest, in front, is above my chin. In the back, none of the hair is on my neck. I love it!

Last, the art story.

I drew my first picture of a human. It was the bad girl from my dream and I had seen her so vividly that I wanted to draw her. So I did. Here's the final product. (I already know it's horrible guys. Only good comments allowed.)

So there you go, that is my summer so far. (Or the last couple weeks of it.)

Plums

Ok, so yesterday I had to go and pick 95 lbs of plums off of our tree. 95 LBS!!!!!!!! this is when I am lucky to have nephews who love to pick things off of a tree. If anybody wants to come get some plums, come on over and take as many as you want. Otherwise we will have to throw them away because we don't eat plums.

they're not really ripe right now, but we had to pick them before our tree broke in half becuase of all the weight (as seen in picture below). Please come and get some, I don't want to throw them away!!!!

BREAKING DAWN!!, etc.

OMGSH!!! I AM SO EXCITED FOR BREAKING DAWN, YOU HAVE NO IDEA!!!!!!!! (actually you probably do)

I just finished Twilight today for about the 100th time. I want to read New Moon and Eclipse before Breaking Dawn comes out, but my copies are currently in use and so are Hillary's, so I'm going to have to wait. I guess it doesn't matter any way because I'm going to be at Bear Lake when it comes out, so I won't be able to read it right away, which I am so bummed about.

I'm free anytime for a movie, since I don't have much of a life. So whatever time you guys decide, I'm in.

I'm glad you're excited for high school Misty, but I'm with Aly, I don't really want to go to my humongous high school. I'm usually excited for a new school year, but I don't how I'll make it without all of you with me. I mean, you guys are my sanity (and sometimes insanity) when I need it at school.

New Layout, anyone?

Hey guys! My sister's got a bud who's AMAZING at making blog layouts (just check out Baylee's blog HERE to see a sample of her skillz). So, I was thinkin' 'bout asking her for a favor in the form of her making us a layout...any requests? IF she'll make it!

P.S.- (Yes, Amanda, I know you don't want anything pink!)

P.S.S.- Plus, we NEED a new name. Any suggestions?

Yo my peeps!!

How are you guys doing?!! I am doing pretty dang good, but I haven't posted for like ever..actually I have never posted! But anyways, I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED FOR BREAKING DAWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I <3 Edward!! See you guys later!!

LEAP 2, The Host, Motor Vu, High School!!!

Just information for any of you who may be interested... but it is also here for those of you who aren't.

I will be leaving on August 4th for Girl Scout Camp (specifically LEAP 2).  I will be gone for roughly 2 weeks with no contact with the rest of the world.  But at least I get to bring my Mp3 player.  : )

My mother bought the Host.  I have read it and it is AWESOME!!!  Makes you think a lot...  and now my brother is hooked.  He likes it, but he doesn't understand the plot...
And why doesn't anyone say anything about Jared.  He wasn't the best person, but he also wasn't the worst person involved.  I personally don't think he deserves to be ignored.

I was thinking, since we have all been trying to see a movie together for quite a while now, we should go to the Motor Vu.  We would see two movies for the price of one.  It's $6 per person (I think) and they have Get Smart, Wall-E, Space Chimps, and more (those are just the ones UNDER pg13).  However, I do not have a van for transportation services.  So, if we do decide this is what we want to do, some one will either have to volunteer or parents will have to drop us all off (8o'clock or so) and then pick us all up (past midnight).

I also got my basic registration packet!!  I am so dang excited for school to start, I think I am gonna go insane!!  Have you guys gotten your school stuff yet?  Are you excited too?  Am I an official nerd now because I'm super-excited for school??

So, there are my thoughts and updates.  Let me know what you think.

Ears (and yet more pain)

It seems all I blog about is my pain, doesn't it? Well this is an exciting kind of pain though.

Today......I got.............MY EARS PEIRCED!!!!!!
eek!

I almost didn't because I was so scared. I mean I actually sat down on the chair, and chickened out and walked out of the store. The lady said I could come back in a little while when I was more ready. I was at the mall so I went to Pac Sun and bought a lot of jeans and then I went back and got them peirced. I was really afraid of the pain, but it really wasn't as bad as I thought. The second one hurt a lot worse than the first.
The sad part was that there was a can't-talk barely-walking baby right in front of me and she got her ears peirced. It was so sad to hear her little cries, but she didn't scream. I felt a little better and consoled myself saying that I wouldn't feel so bad if I cried beause I wouldn't be the only one. ; )

My homecoming surpirse

When I got home from Girls Camp on Saturday, I got some surprising news like Amanda did, but it wasn't a cellphone. Instead I found out my dad had a minor heart attack on Thursday and was currently in the hospital.

Ya, I was floored. I couldn't believe it. As far as I've noticed, my dad's pretty healthy, I mean he exercises every week day, and is the kind of person who still has Halloween candy on Valentine's.

My mom told me he was fine, which he still is, and hopefully will remain. He came home yesterday (Sunday) afternoon. It's just weird having your dad's life suddenly change that way. It's kinda depressing to see him have to take about 4 different medications for the rest of his life and not be able to eat as many fatty foods, but it's all good.

Anyway, we had an awesome time at Girls Camp. Audrey is so much fun to be around, she's funny and smart. I also love her accent, I mean how can you not?

You Should Read This

Hey Hey!

1. Everybody email me "I want your cell #!" (or similar title), and I will give it to you.

2. Sorry! No texting whatsoever. It was less expensive, and since I don't even text like ever, it's OK.

3. I got my work schedule! I am free Thursday (24th o' July) or Saturday.

4. Somebody email me! I haven't gotten emails from anyone in FOREVER!!!

5. When is everybody's birthdays? I'm curious...I don't know them all?

6. What does everyone want for their respective birthdays?

7. Bye!

Thursday, July 17, 2008

Well, off I go to Girls Camp! I'm so excited to have Audrey come, she's so cool. I just hope she won't feel too uncomfortable, since she probably doesn't go camping much (just a guess, since she's never been on a trampoline, so she might not have been exposed to the wild outdoors too much either).

I'm just trying to kill time before we leave today at 11:45 am (it's now 10:00am, I think the time thing on here is an hour behind).

We're going to camp Atoka, that's funded by BYU, I think. It's somewhere in the north direction. It should be pretty fun.

Here I go!

Answering Questions

This is some other information for a reply to each of your comments on Audrey.

Yen- Can you imagine coming to a whole new continent that you've never seen before? Well, just once, she's been the Toronto, China, she wants to go to Australia, she loves to travel. Also Audrey is 16, and Aurelien is 14, almost 15 :). Also, this guy is way hotter than the rest of the European guys. (Like I'd know. :P)

Amanda- It's definitely to see HIM!

Misty- I have just gotten a new toy, that toy just happens to be human . . .

Movie (again)

Hey guys, do we want to go to the movies tomorow? or saturday? I am bored and have nothing to do. it can be anytime tomorow, doesn't have to be @ night. Madeline is done w/ dance and cheer so she would be free. Shannah could bring Audrey and we could meet her that way.

Hillary :D

Conditioning

Blegh.
Today was my first day conditioning for High School soccer, and was it hard! I never realized how out of shape I was until I had to jog around the high school for 15 straight minutes non stop. and then practice soccer. I am a little worried because everyone there was really good. I don't know if I will make it.

You know Trisha from Algebra 2? she plays soccer too and she is trying out. She is also very good. I also saw Aly Jenkins and Ashley Hunzeiker(or how ever you spell that) there and they were on my team for a drill. (Only Shannah and Keilee will know who they are.)

I have to do this every monday thru thursday 7 am to 8:3o am. It is possibly the longest hour and a half I have ever experienced. But it was fun. :D

Hyperventilation.

EEEEK!!! *warning!! if you are not a complete and utter twilight fan, disregard this post. It is for twilighters only!!!* They have started the quote of the day for breaking dawn!!! here is a link to them!!! yayayayayayayay. :D

Make Danish Fish!

Sweden has monopolized the gummy fish market for too long.

Also, check out this random video of a guy dancing with a sign on the street corner next to the Syracuse Wal-Mart! We saw him one day, and apparently someone else did too - and decided to videotape him and put him on Youtube!

My "Homecoming Present"

OK, so I didn't really get it because I got back from Girl's Camp. It just so happens that mom got the chance to upgrade the phones we already had and buy a new one for really cheap. YAY!!!

Also, when I give you my number, don't text me. Mom didn't get text, so any texts I get cost money.

WHOOT! CELL PHONE!

Random Wisdom from Girl's Camp

  • M! M! MAP! P! P! PLE! MAP! PLE! DOES NOT SPELL MAPLEWOOD!!! It spells Mapplewood...which is just weird.
  • The word "zeitgeist" is nearly as cool as "loquacious"
  • There is a Jericho Road concert tonight, and we should so totally go so I can get my hoodie sleeve signed by the fourth guy. YES!!! Jericho Road did a fireside at our girl's camp! WHOOT!
  • You can't replace "Spiderman" in the Spiderman song with "Legacy Park." The extra syllable just kills it. And "park" doesn't rhyme with "art"
  • When the camp next to you won't shut up, it does not help to yell "SHUT UP!" to the sky.
  • When you are in the middle of a half-blanket, half-trampoline mutation, don't think about it. Just say "all" and wave to the birds!
  • Everybody loves the river...bring your own life jacket and tube.
  • Yell "I'M AWAKE! I'M ALIVE! AND I FEEL GREAT!" every morning. It seriously works.
  • (this should be yelled very quickly)Don't mess! Don't mess! Don't mess with the best 'cuz the best don't mess(!) and we are the best from the east to the west! Centennial Park!
  • When you get home, just hope your parents had as awesome a homecoming present for you as they did for me...I HAVE A CELL PHONE!!! WHOOT!

Happy Birthday to Me...

Good News: Yay!!! Tomorrow is my birthday, and I will FINALLY catch upto everybody and turn 15!

Bad News: I'm gonna be at Girl's Camp tomorrow. Pooh.

Ah well.

At least I've had an awesome weekend in Par-ee exploring ice caves and such!

Funny story

When Shannah, Yen, Mrs. Baker, and I were waiting for our luggage in the humongous Denver airport, I saw my cousin Wesley, who is 2 days older than me. I had to do a double take and then I realized his whole family was there. I went over to Wesley, who was like 3 feet away, and my aunt saw me, and we had a little family reunion.

Apparently Wesley had told my aunt and uncle on the airplane that he thought he saw me. My aunt and uncle denied it, saying, "no she's not, why would Keilee be here?" It was such a surprise to both of us.

As we were talking, while waiting for our luggage, we found out they were on the same flight we had just gotten off of, and we were also and the same return flight. What a coincidence!

So while we were waiting for our 2 hour delayed flight, my little 4 year old cousin, Bethany, entertained us by being cute.
