First Day of Junior Year: Great or Horrific?

Sooooooo???? How was it?

AP Calc won't be too bad with the lab tomorrow (we already have homework).
Our chemistry honors teacher is pretty cool, she'll be fun.
Seminary! Not too shabby replacements. I've got Bro. Too-Peppy-and-Smiley-For-His-Age John.
I'm really excited for AP American, mostly because Mrs. Mortensen seems really fun, I mean she collects hub caps and hangs them next to her desk! And has little toy cowboys and Indians fighting each other on top of the white board. How cool is that?

I don't think tomorrow will be as great though...I have to be with normal people for art and choir *cringe*

Hmm.. it was okay. Haha.. Hillary told me about the 18 pages of work you guys have tomorrow in math and stuff!

School was okay.. I have to write a personal essay, and read a chapter for Biology. Also, I have to collect 20 potato bugs. Yuck. Yeah, tomorrow isn't gonna be all that great for me either...

HA! Well us cool people at Clearfield didn't have classes yesterday. We just had assemblies and fun stuff all day. And today is an A/B day so we go to all our classes just to get disclosures and go over the rules. We don't start classes until wednesday!!!

Guess what? I passed my driving test!!!

Ha.. and guess what else I found out about today? Not only do we get late start every mondays, but we're still gonna get late start fridays when you guys get them.. So who has the cooler school now?

Yeah, ya know what we get every week now? Advisory. LAME!!!
And they're all acting like it's gonna be better than last year. Yeah, right.

My first two days were great!

I agree. Mrs. Mortensen sounds like a fun teacher for AP American. I have to buy the college book for 1050/1060, and it's EXPENSIVE! ($130 on Amazon) Financial Lit is right next to lunch, which rules! I think Barnard will be good... Engineering is gonna be amazing! Larissa is in my class, so I'm not the only girl, and Mr. Frost is way cool!

Today was amazing! Jazz Band, English, Seminary, Symphonic Band. Best B Day EVER! I have Brother Davis for seminary. Did anybody else think it looked like he'd been hit over the head with something?

Either that or he ran into a pole.

My days were kinda boring. Keilee and I both don't have lockers because our stupid school system double assigned the lockers! I went to go to my locker and someone was already using it. :(
Keilee had her 2 dollar umbrella stolen out of her locker.

I have about 5 schedules because the school can't decide whether I should take classes or not! 2 periods before I was supposed to take Painting they send me my "new" schedule and suddenly I'm taking Drawing! I was kinda mad, but I talked to my teacher and he said if I felt like something was too easy, he would change it for me to make it harder. :)

YEN!!!!!! I decided that your school is the lamest of all LATE START EVERY MONDAY!!! that is like my dream. So jealous...

Wow.. yeah, today, my chem teacher was saying that if you want a scholarship, it'd better include books, cuz like my chem book cost the school $175 to buy.

I'm so sorry Hillary! It's the district thingy.. but don't be too too jealous, I mean, I'm losing like 6 hours of school every month times 9 months = 54 hours I could use for AP lectures! That stinks about how your schedule keeps getting messed up and how they doubled lockers.

Amanda.. We have advisory too, unfortunately. But it's only once a month. The sophomores have it everyweek, but for everyone else, we just have tutorials/study sessions..not like anyone wants it though...

Who are you callin "normal choir people"? I better not be normal! Take that back. Like today me and my new choir friend Kimber were painting risers for choir. Then Wicked came on and we both realized we were in love with it. So we jumped out onto the stage and sang the parts, even harmony (because we were choir peeps) I was elphaba and she was Glinda. It was so not normal and so much fun!

Is Kimber extremely excited about many things and often loud? She might sit behind me in seminary...
